2002-08-24 Dachau

We've been to Dachau (former Nazi concentration camp) four times in the past few years. Typically it's a somber occasion - we walk and don't speak to one another, horrified at what once took place. This time our visit was surreal. The graphic movie they used to show at the beginning no longer runs and Dachau looks more like a park than a former concentration camp.
